Ladies and gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week Art Deco S&D-925/Solid Silver Cigarette Box 5.52″ x 3.14″ 169.48 grams = 5.97 ounces. Here the difference with ordinary boxes is that the partition that holds the cigarettes is solid hand-engraved silver, which gives extra weight to the snuff box. I don’t know anything about the country, I believe it was made in Italy, any information is welcome. Comes from a private collection. I sell antique and vintage collectible stuff – unique items that have history, and may show signs of this – it’s part of their charm. I try to describe any obvious faults as truthfully as I can. However, as most of my items are 100 years old, they will often bear the traces of a previous life.

Luden’s 10-Cent large size Menthol cough drop case box with all 20 of its original 10 cent boxes still full, unopened, and sealed. I believe these are vintage 1950’s – 1960’s. The case box measures 8-1/8″ long, 4″ across, and 3-1/8 tall. Each individual box 4″ x 2″ x 5/16. Looks like the 4 boxes that were on top have some slight color fading as you can see in the photo with all of them spread out. A couple of the boxes has an inner stain spot from the old cough drops inside. It is hard to find full cases of these with full, sealed boxes. Would make a great old time store display piece.
