The handles are a very pretty genuine old red bone with an inlaid oval shield. The blades are stainless steel. The tang is stamped with the famous “CASE XX”. The knife has nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. The knife comes in the factory Case pumpkin box with a certificate of authenticity. The knife was produced by Case in 2000 at the Millennium. The tang stamp has 5 “Dot’s'” and 5 “X’s”. The only way to get this knife was from the Case Associate Mint Set in 2000. Case only made 350 of these sets. This knife also comes with a Case Certificate of Authenticity. The stag on this knife is fat and well matched. The knife is 3 1/2 long when closed. The main blade is 2 1/2 long. To get this knife the Case Associate Set had to be broken up individually. It also has a nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. The knife comes in a factory Case box. This is for a Case XX Muskrat SS, produced in the USA in 2000. New in Box, with a purple bone handle. It has two blades. The longest blade is approximately 2.5. The knife itself is approximately 4 when closed. The box has some wear/creases. There is a crack on the rear side of the handle where one of the pins was inserted. You can see it in the picture. The purple of the handle shows up best on that side also. This knife is part of my husband’s life long collection of knife’s that he is now parting with in his later years of life. This knife is intended for collecting.
