Mechanical Cigarette Dispenser Box with Marquetry Inlay-1920’s Antique/Working

Features marquetry inlay all around and inside, the bird is hand painted. This mechanical device works by opening the lid and the bird pops up with the cigarette in his beak. This was designed to take “normal size” cigarettes such as Camel’s or Lucky Strikes. Overall dimensions are 4 1/2″ Tall x 4 1/2″ wide x 4 Thick. There is a side box that holds matches on left side measuring 2 1/4″ long x 1 1/2″ tall x 1/2 thick. The box is in very good condition, and everything works as it should. Bird does pick cigarette up and works fine. Beautiful variation of natural wood tones.
