The handles are clear with a picture of what was considered a “Naughty Lady” forty years ago. The pattern number is HA199 1/2 SSP. The HA stands for “High Art”. This knife has one (1) dot. This indicates the knife was made in 1979 at Bradford, PA. The blade is a stainless steel with a satin finish and nice etch. The bolsters are nickel silver and the liners are brass. This knife Is 4″ long when closed and the blade is 3″ long. This knife is a great example of a high quality mint Case knife. This model of Case knife has a very unique feature. The handle is clear to reveal a picture on both sides of the handle. The handles are pinned on with four polished brass pins. The tang is stamped CASE XX – USA. There is 1 dot below the USA, indicating the knife was made in 1979. The reverse tang is stamped HA199 1/2SSP. The bolsters are nickel silver with clear handle and silver pins. A VERY UNUSUAL CASE KNIFE IN VINTAGE BLUE BOX. The knife is 7 1/4″ long with a 3″ blade. The knife is 4 long when closed. The handles are clear and the knife has a stainless steel blade.
