When closed, latches keep the lids shut and cards secure. Card Bins are stackable with feet on the bottom that rest in the lid of the bin below it to prevent sliding. The rows in the bins are notched along the top to hold separating partitions. The card bin also comes with a set of BCW toploaders that fit into special, exterior slots to help mark the contents of each row.

Wonderful Antique Chinese’Blue Enamel Cloisonne Smoking Box’ with Three Separately Hinged Compartments. All Over Repeating Scallop Design’. Measurements shown in photos. The exterior and interior are excellent. No dents or losses. The inside is immaculate! Original clean sheen, even the ash holder. Each independently hinged compartment opens smoothly to reveal it’s original blue enamel shine. All 3 hinged tops, all walls, corners, hinges etc, are inline and there are no dents, rust or corrosion, and no twists. Original with no repairs or alterations.

This hinged silver cheroot case (tests as sterling) is decorated to the outside with a chased floral pattern that suggests a Middle Eastern or Asian region of manufacture, possibly Indian. The inside has individual spaces, and the case closes by means of a sprung catch to one side. This superbly forged item, which could also serve as a pill box or cigarette holder, or card case. With surface wear consistent with age and prior use, and would make a delightful present. There is a maker’s mark to the inside of the case (see photographs) and a vacant cartouche to the outside.
