Turkish symbol, metal cigarette holder, and very great condition with Crystal studs around the top. About four are missing. Missing a screw where it holds the round zodiac circle. Plays music very well a very rare find. Measures 7 1/2 inches close 12 1/2 inches when open 5 1/2 inches wide.

Mechanical Cigarette Dispenser Box with Marquetry Inlay-1920's Antique/Working

Features marquetry inlay all around and inside, the bird is hand painted. This mechanical device works by opening the lid and the bird pops up with the cigarette in his beak. This was designed to take “normal size” cigarettes such as Camel’s or Lucky Strikes. Overall dimensions are 4 1/2″ Tall x 4 1/2″ wide x 4 Thick. There is a side box that holds matches on left side measuring 2 1/4″ long x 1 1/2″ tall x 1/2 thick. The box is in very good condition, and everything works as it should. Bird does pick cigarette up and works fine. Beautiful variation of natural wood tones.

This is a great item. You load the cigarettes in the top of the box. When you are ready for a smoke, you wind up the music box then press the small button under the books and a puppy brings up your item. Box width is approximately 4.5 height is approximately 5 inches.

A lovely display piece and even practical if you are a smoker. The intricate detailing in the wood work and the simple mechanism make this a great art deco piece. The pelican bends over and picks up a cigarette when pushed. The top slides open to allow for easy filling and the items fall into the drawer that is exposed when the bird moves. The lid used to slide but now it sits on top and there are some small scratches. Measurements: 5.75″w 3.5″h 3.5d. Our aim is your satisfaction.
