These vintage tortoiseshell celluloid boxes are often called cigarette cases or trinket boxes. They are highly collectible and sought-after. This particular box is unusual in that the original label is in perfect condition. Made by Art Plus Co. Made in Tokyo, Japan. 6.125W x 4.25D x 2.25H. In excellent vintage condition with label intact. Up for sale is a very nice guaranteed antique guaranteed real early Thermoplastic box by Berg. The scene depicted is entitled The Landing of Columbus by Berg. This is the biggest piece of thermoplastic I have ever encountered and a true collectors item. The box itself is wood the over is thermoplastic. I have seen this material used frequently for photography cases but this is the first time for a covered box. Measurements – The box is 9 inches by 7 inches and 3.5 inches tall. Condition – Good condition for age there is some nicks and cracks as shown. Please feel free to make us an offer – we are open to offers on most of our items.

One Antique knife box as listed here. Origin of England, an early 19th century mahogany knife box. The interior now fitted to hold stationery. It has a crotch veneered top and front with ebonized inlay and lozenge shaped bone escutcheon. The interior has been divided into eight compartments. It is good overall, with minor bumps, touch ups, and checking to veneers, escutcheon was replaced. 8in × 16in x 14in approximately. See pictures for details as they are part of the listing. This is a very old pencil box depicting players with all of their equipment. It does show its age. I’m thinking this about 1870-80. There are cracks and scuffs. But what a great image. This measures approximately 7 3/4″ x 2″ x 1 1/4. The push latch works well. I believe the photographs give an accurate read.
