The wood is stained, then top-coated (twice) with a clear conversion varnish which meets all environmental regulations. Backing is black felt (however, optional felt colors are Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Wine Red, and Saddle Gray). This case is excellent for showcasing your military (or other) coin collections.
